Donna Sonner, APRN, NP

Submitted by administrator on Tue, 07/26/2016 - 12:40

Donna has been with The Maine Recovery Center since the beginning. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, certified in May of 2003 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center after graduating with honors from the University of Missouri in December of 2002 with a Master of Science degree in nursing. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing and a minor in biology from Missouri Western State College. She started her professional career as a Family Nurse Practitioner in St. Joseph, Missouri. In 2007 she moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where she worked at Cardiology of Tulsa and later for Utica Park Clinic. She moved to Maine in 2012 and became a part of the Maine Rocevery Center shortly after. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their family; they have two grandchildren that are their pride and joy. She also enjoys crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, performing arts, and sightseeing. Most would be surprised to know that at one time she was an owner-operator long haul truck driver.
